BIO

El Capricho del Duende for us is a way to explore new territories of baroque and popular music, it is a common thought and feeling and also - time well spent surrounded by friends while playing music or not.

Wei-Lian Huang

Voice

After obtaining her Master in singing performance at Taipei University of Arts Wei-Lian moved to Brussels to study in the Conservatory there with Marianne Pousseur, Dinah Bryant and Stephan van Dyck.

She found her interest and passion in Early Music while working on 17th and 18th century music with Nicholas Achten, Bernard Wolteche and Jean-Luc Impe.

Wei-Lian is regularly participating in productions with Scherzi Musicali, Les menus plaisir du Roy, Ad Mosam, The New Baroque Time Choir and The Chamber Choir of Namur in Belgium, Germany and France. And after her travels she is happy to come back to Brussels where she is greeted by her boyfriend and her cat Norie.

Pablo Lascano

Keyboards

Without a doubt the most versatile musician in this group Pablo usually starts his exercises with free toccatta and ends with salsa music, playing a couple of baroque pieces in between. He started piano and composition studies in his hometown Buenos Aires. Later Pablo's interest in Early Music brought him to Germany where he studied with Robert Hill and Michael Behringer at Musikhochschule of Freiburg and to Brussels where he finished his Master's degree with Frédérick Haas. At the moment Pablo is busy playing with ensemble La Battalla amongst others and taking courses with Bart Naessens. One can encounter Pablo on Early Music stages as well as in Latin Music venues throughout Belgium, France, Switzerland and Germany.

Anita Romanova

Violin

Anita started her path in baroque music in hometown Riga where she studied at the Early Music Dept.of Latvian Conservatory and gained experience playing with Collegium Musicum Riga orchestra.

Later on she continued her studies of period performance in Royal Conservatory of the Hague with Enrico Gatti and lastly in Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Mira Glodeanu.

She participated in projects all around Europe playing in festivals like Ars Musica, Vadstena Akademien, and Musique3 with orchestras and chamber music groups.

In the meantime Anita is living in Holland where she is raising her daughter and spends time painting and drawing.

Delphine Gros

Violin

Delphine started her music studies in Conservatory of Toulouse and continued in Musikhochschule of Freiburg. During her studies in Germany she started to take interest in Early Music and took lessons with Petra Mullejans and Gottfried von der Goltz. But only after her encounter with Mira Glodeanu in 2013 Delphine decided to devote her career to 17th and 18th century repertoire. Delphine recenty completed a Post-Master program at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and plays regularly with orchestras Les Agrémens, Ad Mosam, Apotheosis as well as with numerous chamber music ensembles. Besides a great violinist Delphine is also an excellent cook and first to try her meals is Pablo, her partner in music and in life.
